Throughout the week, we make sure to focus on gross motor skills. We always incorporate various ways to work on these skills while keeping the students engaged.
Reading Corner
Fine motor skills are essential to a child's development. We make sure to provide multiple tools to help the students identify and write the letters of their name as well as the letters we learn throughout the year.
Math: Colors, shapes, more vs less, big vs small, patterns, numbers, etc.
Daily Calendar: Days of the week, months of the year, weather, seasons, numbers.

Writing Center: We always makes sure to provide various tools for the students to learn the shape of letters, numbers, etc. Here, we chose to use salt for them to practice writing the letter of the week.
Calming Corner: We provide a comfortable space with several sensory options.
